Adi Kraus designed three smart looking, functional built-in closets for our Manhattan apartment. He responded immediately to our inquiry, presented drawings within two days, and had his associated carpenters install the closets within five weeks. You can see a time lapse video of one of the closets on his website. One of the custom designs was tricky, as it had to be built into a quirky space in a 1916 building. We are pleased with our new closets and we believe the value they bring to out apartment exceeds their cost.

Adi is the best. I found him from Google and was a little suspicious about the reviews as they are too good to be true and there are many fake reviews on internet nowadays (I replaced the floors based on google review but I won’t recommend the contractor in any case), but I am very lucky to have Adi design and install the closets for our three bedrooms. He is a great designer, very patient and responsive. The installation team he uses is also very professional.

New-Closet designed a large reach-in closet for my bedroom. It includes hanging space, shelves. drawers and a pull out section. This was a challenging build with such a wide space, and walls that were not straight. Adi and his team did a fantastic job making it work, and came back multiple times to make sure it was perfect! The result is a closet that maximizes the available space and makes organization and storage easy. And the closet looks fabuous too!

Really impressed by the closet install they did for us. We called 3 closet companies (including California closets) and Adi had the best design and turn around time. Other companies told us the install wouldn’t be for 4 months but Adi and his team installed a month after our meeting which was the most impressive. The closets look beautiful, our space was a complicated, funky shape and they look amazing. Very pleased with the results and the guys Adi sent for the install, who were exceptional and very professional and did an impeccable cleaning job as well. I am moving to new apartment and have been having work done and furniture ordered for my new place. I highly recommend New Closet as they had a quick turnaround time, held to their word on scheduling and very nice craftsmanship. Most vendors I have been dealing with had excuses of why they could not deliver due to COVID but not Adi with New Closet. If you want something done right and fast call New Closet!

Adi's reviews are so positive that you might suspect there's something fishy going on, but he's just that good! He is incredibly responsive and accommodating; he works with you to refine the plans until he is certain that you are getting what you want and need (his 3-D renders are extremely helpful in this process); his prices are reasonable and the quality appears to be very good. After the installation, he was diligent in following up to confirm that everything was satisfactory. He is one of the few vendors I've worked with who does exactly what he says he's going to do, when he says he's going to do it. I wish everyone were as easy to work with!

Adi and his team designed built and installed a custom closet for our new babies nursery. The quality of the materials and the professional build and install is of the upmost quality. His team was efficient and professional, and not a spec of dirt was left behind. I have many closets from TCS and I will say this closet was 100% custom and designed to work for our space, I would recommend new closet to anyone looking for a great high quality product at competitive pricing and having the job done the right way. Adi was a pleasure to work with. He designed the closet with lots of thought and tailored to our needs. He was patient with an unexpected delay due to other work being done in our apartment. Throughout the entire process Adi was very responsive and communicative, down to letting us know when the installers were wrapping up. Finally, Adi has good taste and will help make decisions (or offer guidance) as far as finishes and materials. One other closet company wanted us to take our own measurements so they could "screen" to decide if our closet was worth it for them to design - no thanks! Adi took the job without hesitation. We could not have had a better experience and will use New Closet again in the future.

The owner, Adi, and his team did an amazing job on my project. We had an issue with my building that required a very unique custom solution to replace a covering around a heating unit and he did an awesome and didn’t charge an arm and a leg. He’s also so responsive, which is sadly rare these days. Would definitely use them again if I needed similar work.

I am beyond thrilled with the final product from New Closet. Adi came very highly recommended and rightly so. He came in - looked at my space and was able to design a closet that truly maximizes every square inch. The soft close drawers are amazing, the construction is extremely well done and the overall look is just as good as the high end, super expensive companies. Adi was professional, listened to my needs and vision and produced something that was even better than I had imagined. Adi and his team did an excellent job at my manhattan apartment. They manufactured and installed 2 wall cabinets, one floor to ceiling shelf unit, provided organizer system for 10 closets. We found Adi through my contractor, who highly recommended him. Adi came in with a really great price (and I shopped around a few different places) and was able to complete way earlier than anyone else. Also, he was able to work with the unique shape of my closet to create the perfect design. Others had limitations that they could not work around, but Adi figured out better configurations for my space that others told me they could not do. Adi was extremely responsive and checked in continually throughout the process to give me updates on timing and other items. Also, he was flexible and let me choose my own hardware and where to place them. He worked hard to make sure my closet was absolutely perfect, and I am extremely happy I chose to work with him.

My daughter bought an apt in NY and we called in three different companies for estimates. Not only was Adi with New Closet competitive and excellent at closet design and maximizing space, but we just knew he'd get the job done. We had confidence in him from the beginning and he did not let us down. I have since learned Adi is also an artist - and that helps him be a great designer since he can easily conceptualize space and possibilities, and his creative nature helped tremendously. His installation team was excellent (and left the place spotless). He installed the closets right on time (in fact, he had the best turn around time of any company we met with), and the quality is excellent. It was everything he promised. I recently moved into a 2 bedroom apartment with my husband with 3 small closets and a small walk-in that all only had one shelf and one hanging bar. Adi came to meet me on the day that we moved in, had a quote with full 3D renderings of the design a few hours later and a crew out to do the installation for us one week later. If you are considering the options for closet organization, design and installation, I highly recommend New York Closets. My experience with the company couldn't have been more positive. My salesman/designer, Adi Kraus was professional, extremely reliable, and a pleasure to work with. When he said he would call he did; when he said he we be over, he arrived on time. And he deserves the highest marks for his patience, as it took me well over a year to finally commit to doing the closets. I chose to have white shelving in all but two closets. The white provides a handsome contrast to the items in the closet. In the bedroom we installed a cherry wood color, which looks quite handsome. I suggest that you add accessories. I chose belt racks (they slide out for better access) and an butler bar which I use for hanging clothes as I put together outfits. I am so happy I added drawers too. Every time the drawers slide closed with a whoosh and soft tap, I am thrilled. Once the design was finalized, the installation was completed quickly. NYClosets immediately provided our building with the insurance documents they needed, and set a date for delivery and installation. It worked like clockwork.The materials arrived on Thursday, closets were prepped, and on Friday 8 closets were installed! When we walked in the door that night, you would have never known any work had been done. My designer came to check on the job and stayed in close contact with team throughout the installation. He followed up to be sure that we were completely satisfied. I highly recommend this company.

I recently had my apartment done with all new closets - 10 in total. New York Closets did an excellent job with them. First, the service was incredibly responsive, a real contrast to California Closets where I started out. There, I couldn't get anyone to return emails or display any interest in helping me out. With NY Closets, I had a meeting set up immediately and a price-competitive proposal shortly after my meeting. The turn around time was terrific, the finishes are great and they came back to fix a couple of small issues promptly after the initial install. Great job!

We found Adi during an internet search. Read the reviews, took a deep breath and took the plunge. What a great decision! Adi designed and installed 6 closets (from large walk-ins to pantry) and converted another walk-in closet into an office space. Most of our communication was by email and his installers worked around the other construction in the apartment to meet our move-in deadline. Great personal attention from Adi and his team. We had 3 closets redone and they were able to keep to their timeline and get the job done in about a day and a half as promised. As we encountered unexpected issues with the installation Adi and his team were able to adjust the design to make everything work for our space. In a world where contractors typically overpromise and underdeliver I was relieved to see the NY Closet team stick to their timeline for a quick turnaround. I was also impressed by the integrity of their company as they had overcharged us for part of the job and we unknowingly paid the full amount. Adi came to our apartment on Saturday- we discussed what we were looking for (ie we wanted some shelving, some double hang, some room to hang dresses/suits) he showed us a few options and we picked our favorite. I usually don't write reviews on products but I'm taking the time to do this one because the work done by New Closet was outstanding and I want other to hear about my experience. We recently purchased our Condo in the UES and were looking to renovate our closets as to maximize space while keeping a modern look without sacrificing quality. We quote 2 companies, both came in but New Closet was the only one that really understood what we wanted. Adi (Owner) showed up personally not only during the initial quoting process but also during installation and even checked with us a few weeks later to make sure we were happy and satisfied with the result. I recommend New Closet to anyone looking for a closet design company who can listen to customers, personalize your space and be attentive to details and do proper follow up.
